An Embraer aircraft operated by Associated Airlines with Reg No SCD 361 enroute Akure from the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, crashed shortly after take-off at about 9.30 am local time. The plane had 20 passengers and 7 crew members on board.

Emergency rescue operations commenced immediately by a combined team of Fire Service and security personnel . Some persons pulled out from the aircraft have been rushed to the hospital while a few dead bodies have been recovered, The rescue operations is still on-going.

Nasarawa - Mohammed Audu, 51, of Tudun Wada, Mararaba in Nasarawa State, has asked a Grade 1 Area Court sitting at Aso Pada, to order his wife, Maryam, 25, to marry a virgin for him.

Audu, who made the request on Wednesday at the resumed hearing in a case instituted by his wife who sued for divorce, said he would agree to the divorce, if the wife could marry a virgin for him.

I've watched the Kenyan Mall massacre in what appears like a real life Hollywood movie in disbelief and fear. Even as my heart goes out to all the victims of this terrible attack, one thing on my mind is 'This could have been anywhere' I think about shoprite and how people go in there in their hundreds on weekends to do their shopping and simply just say a prayer.

I pray for all the victims of this terrible act and their families. May God almighty heal them.

The pair, who have had a tempestuous relationship over the past few years, have reportedly decided to postpone their wedding while they see if they are better off apart.

I really think this is a good move. Miley doesn't seem like someone who's ready for marriage at all with all her wild ways of behaving and naked pictures, performances and video. The fact that she unfollowed Liam on twitter says it all besides, all that break-up and make-up was just beginning to be so boring.

I attended a company sponsored training today and the passage below was a time management case study which incidentally is a real life event. 

After we’d read the passage, we were all told to draw the process of how we typically spend our time daily. It wasn't surprising to see that most of the men and some women have become '12 O'clock parents' 

The passage was written by Reuben Abati in 1994 and it was quite surprising that as far back as 19 years ago, this syndrome was already sweeping Nigerian Families.

After a couple of months, I moved from my family house into a beautiful BQ and got myself a lovely car. I don't know whether I was trying to heal by splashing gifts on myself but whatever it was, it worked. I stopped missing him and started enjoying myself and being happy again. I became carefree once more and for a long long time, totally removed my mind from husband things and just concentrated on living and enjoying my life. I joined a society in church, dedicated more time to work and splashed some money on some good clothes and salon. My life was back on track and it was a good life.

Shortly after that, I noticed that James had become very cold and unresponsive. He even became mean to me and just wasn't acting the 'nice scattered guy' that I'd come to know and love, so, I started probing and asking him what the matter was. After a lot of talks that wasn't leading to anywhere, I told him that I guess he probably needs a break and he jumped at it. I've always been of the opinion that the issue of having problems getting pregnant after 35 is not a universal one. I believe that African women (especially those without any natural fertility issues and those who haven't gone through lots of abortions) can get pregnant for as long as they want until they hit their menopause but all the books and doctors have always said otherwise and made it look like you've committed an unforgivable sin when you're above 35 and only just looking at getting pregnant for the first time.

Seriously, I don't get these people. If they want to legalize gay marriage in their country, all good and fine but why on earth will they want to ensure that they spread the virus all around the world? Could this be just a campaign stunt or is this guy actually an advocate of the devil?

Africa has said gay marriage is against their culture, it's not something they want to be involved in, why then, will a British Prime Minister who knows nothing about other people's culture vow to spread it around the world?

Toilet oh! I mean, regular toilet that they'll use to do 'the do' and simply flush. They've spend a whopping $750,000 on four gold-plated toilets for their mansion in Bel Air. This excludes the money they've spend on six special-edition beds which came to almost $1 millions, Swarovski-encrusted fridge and freezer and what-have-you.
