When it's the cool thing to be a Nerd. Big Bang Theory.

...It all started with the big bang!

I'm usually not one to see a series from the beginning to the end but this Big Bang Theory is something else! The Series is not very popular in Nigeria but according to 'UberFacts' it's the most watched series in Canada.

What these retired workers are made to go through is disheartning. Sometimes, they're instructed to stand under the sun and in the rain for days for accredition, yet, their very little stipends still don't get paid.

My heart goes out to these elders of our land. This morning they protested over unpaid monthly pensions in Abuja. The pensioners gathered at the office of head of the Civil Service of the federation at the Federal Secretariat  demanding for payment of their monthly stipends.

Gunmen Kill Retired SSS Officer In Gombe

Even security men are not excepted!

The Director of the State Security Service (SSS) in Gombe State, Mr Bitrus Asher, announced on Tuesday that unknown gunmen had killed a retired officer of the SSS, Malam Aliyu Abubakar in Gombe.
Asher told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that Abubakar was shot by the gunmen in Yulunguruza Quarters in Gombe at about 6.30 p.m. on Monday while Abubakar was performing ablution in his friend's house.
The director said the deceased was shot in the back and was immediately taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Gombe, where he died.
Asher said the deceased was buried on Tuesday and that security operatives in the state were  investigating the matter.
He said that no arrest had been made on the incident.

I stumbled across lindaikeji's post of May 4th 2007 titiled:" 'Got Ya! + Linda Ikeji Pictures " and this made me think of Tonto Dike's comment on Twitter refereing to Linda as a failed model.

A Woman and a Man too Commit suicide in Lagos.

RESIDENTS of Olodi Apapa, a suburb of Lagos, were thrown into mourning when a woman allegedly committed suicide in the area.
The woman, identified simply as Charity, was said to have killed herself in her apartment on Emordi Street, Olodi Apapa.

Hon. Farouk admits collecting a $620,000 bribe from Otedola

 It's scary to even mention these names but well...what can we do?

Chairman, House of Representatives Ad hoc Committee Monitoring the Fuel Subsidy, Hon. Farouk Lawan, sang a different tune Monday over his role in the allegation that he collected $620,000 from the Chairman of Zenon Oil and Gas, Mr. Femi Otedola, to doctor the panel’s report.
