Video of Ardi Rizal, 2 year old baby who smoked 40 cigarettes a day.

I was watching a documentary recently and was shocked that I'd never heard about Ardi Rizal, a 2 year old boy, (now 6) who smoked packs and packs of cigarettes in a day while his family watch on. I mean, this boy was so young, he still fed from a baby feeding bottle!

Fortunately, he is said to have quit after going through a rehab after the video went viral in 2010 and the government of Indonesia felt disgraced. The bad thing though is that the boy is now suffering  some kind of chest infection caused by the cigarettes he's been exposed to and had smoked at such a young age.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z with their baby girl, Blue Ivy visited Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter North. They made their visit even sweeter by reportedly bringing along a staggering £5,000 of presents for the little girl.

Among the gifts they gave to two-week-old North were personalised Christian Dior baby booties and a three-piece sterling silver Elsa Peretti Padova baby set with the baby's name on.

Someone was passing through Adeola Odekun, Victoria Island yesterday and was so mesmerized by this 'Governor's Office' vehicle that he took a picture and sent to me. Seriously, does this car even need to pass through road worthiness test before we know it's not road worthy?

Deeper Life refuses Kumiyi's son's apology on account of his bride's dress and puts him on suspension

I read about all the controversy following Pastor Kumuy's son's wedding in Jamaica sometime last week. While some bloggers said the lady was all dressed in tight fitting dress and made up, some others  said it was Photoshopped as she was dressed in a shapeless, long sleeve dress without any makeup.

It looks like the people who said the bride was all made up were right because John Kumuyi, the son of the General Superintendent of the Church has been suspended.

John Kumuyi with his wife offered a video apology to the church but his apology was not accepted and he was still suspended.

Fire guts Visafone office in Victoria Island, Lagos

Heard this news on the radio this morning and the first thing that came to my mind was 'oh my! I hope this won't lead them to sacking even more people.

How I got stuck in ShopRight because I didn't have cash. How ripe is Nigeria for a cashless society?

I've always been an advocate for paperless and cashless society. In my office, my colleagues know I have soft copies of almost any document and hardly ever keep hard copies unless I am mandated to which usually gets to my nerves.

This is also my behaviour towards cash. I buy almost anything online with my debit card, pay for my cable, for flights, use PoS machines in boutiques and shops and even recharge people's mobile phones directly online.

I can't remember the last time I was at the bank because I've not had a reason to for a while. I use any online payment platforms you can think about. I use and love mobile money and I get angry that I can't use PoS in the general local market and the filling stations. So, these are the only places I go to with cash.

How am I supposed to forgive my 27 year old brother who has been raping my 8 year old daughter! Somebody tell me, how am I supposed to move on, knowing that my little girl has been defiled by my own brother? I returned from work precisely one week ago and was shocked to meet my usually happy wife, holding our little girl and crying her eyes out. She looked so sad and immediately she saw me, she completely broke down and was crying so hard and so deep, it was heart wrecking. It was so scary to see my wife in that state.

34 year old Nigerian model and On Air personlity, Yinka Olonode commits suicide in Portland, USA

I just heard about the death of Yinka Olonode, an erstwhile popular On Air Personality for Rhythm FM who also appeared on an MTN advert some years ago.

According to reports, he apparently committed suicide by jumping from the 15th floor of the Nines hotel at 525 S.W downtown Portland rooftop restaurant on Monday, 29th April evening.
