Barack Obama dispatched 50 US marines to Libya to help hunt down the killers of American ambassador Chris Stevens as suspicions grew that the attack was planned and carefully orchestrated.

The president vowed that "justice will be done" after Mr Stevens, 52, was killed by an Islamist mob in an attack on the US consulate in the eastern coastal city of Benghazi. Three other Americans were also killed in the raid, which came on the anniversary of September 11.

Breaking News: Suicide Bomber hits Catholic Church in Bauchi during Mass

BAUCHI, Nigeria (AP) — A suicide car bomber attacked a Catholic church conducting Mass in northern Nigeria on Sunday, killing two people and wounding another 45 in a region under assault by a radical Islamist sect, officials said.

An Associated Press journalist heard the explosion after 9 a.m. Sunday in the city of Bauchi, which has seen a number of bombings and shootings blamed on  Boko Haram. The blast appeared to hit a parking lot alongside the St. John's Catholic Church in the city.

Oh my gosh! Man caught selling Vulture as roasted Chicken in Port Harcourt

What! I don't find this gist funny at all.

This man was caught trapping vultures in Onne, Portharcourt that he roasts as suya chicken and sells to unsuspecting customers.

His excuse was that he used to sell real chicken but  chicken got too expensive, so, he started trapping vultures and selling to his customers.

He catches the vultures by rubbing snuff on fresh meat to make the carcass-eating ugly birds dizzy and too weak to fly away after eating the meat.

Abeg, is vulture healthy meat? Just the thought of vultures eating dead meat in refuse dumps and their very dirty looks make me want to puke.

Spruill, who has three children and eight grandchildren, is now telling her story in an attempt to find her other siblings from her father.

'Nigeria's got Talent' showed on our TV screens for the first time on Sunday, 16th September with some of the finest and best judges any show could possibly boast of.

The judges were made up of: The Ever Interesting Dan Foster, Very pretty Kate Henshaw and Cool Dude, Yibo Koko while the host is Andre Blaze. 

The first show took us to Ibadan and Port Harcourt audition. It was a lot of drama, some were funny, some just pitiable while others were so interesting, you'll want to clap and cry at the same time. All in all, it was really exciting and interesting.

Jonathan orders Sanusi to stop the introduction of N5000 note (Punch)

President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday (20th Sept) finally bowed to pressure as he directed the Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Lamido Sanusi, to suspend the planned introduction of N5,000 note.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media, Dr. Reuben Abati, disclosed the development to State House correspondents in Abuja. Abati told journalists that Jonathan’s latest disposition to the issue was based on the need for more “enlightenment and consultation”. He said,

Man arrested after he confessed in church that he murdered his friend whom he was owing N30k

A 23-year-old man, Obinna Maxwell, is in the custody of Lagos State police following a confession in church that he killed his friend.

Maxwell was arrested by the police last month after his confession to a large congregation of the Lord's Chosen Church at Ijesha, Lagos, that he killed his friend, Elijah.

He said that he stuffed Elijah's corpse in a 'Ghana-must-go' bag and dumped the corpse by a dump site at Orile-Iganmu.
