Kanye termed Kim's designer shoes ghetto & asked that she should do away with them

I don't get why a woman will let a man determine what she should have in her wardrobe and order her to get rid of all her (getto)  clothes not putting into consideration that she might have some emotional attachment to the clothes but outrightly goes ahead to replace them with his own idea of ideal fashion.

What kind of woman takes that from a man. Kim Kardashian is a power dresser in her own rights. She can be absolutely classy and stunning so I don't get where Kanye gets the idea that he should dress her up and make her give out her clothes. 

This attitude reminds me of 'Babie Girl'

Kim Kardashian donated every single pair of her shoes charity, after Kanye West dismissed her huge closet as 'ghetto'.

The rapper went through Kim's huge collection of shoes, and clothes, with a stylist in scenes broadcast on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The bed was soon heaped with piles of unwanted designer clothes, many unworn, while pair after pair of shoes were stacked outside Kim's room. Many looked to be brand new, perhaps worn once or twice.

Despite Kim herself previously describing herself as a 'stylist' she allowed her new lover to decide which items stayed, and which were rejected.

 And despite her boyfriend taking over her closet, Kim claimed that he had 'inspired me to be a little bit more of an individual'.
