According to BBA website, Prezzo unleashed a bombshell this evening.

Kenyan rapper Prezzo confided in Talia this evening, letting her in on his plans to ask for a Voluntary Exit, as early as tomorrow. Prezzo cited isolation and an overwhelming sense of loneliness as his reason for throwing in the towel.

Two Chinese arrested for killing fellow in Kano over money while intoxicated.

Two Chinese nationals – Jimbo Zhao Dang Dong and Smith Zhhang Ze, have been arrested for allegedly killing two other Chinese during a brawl.

During the brawl, the Chinese nationals used dangerous weapons resulting in the deaths of the two men.

The brawl was precipitated by a debt owed the suspects by one of the deceased.

The police are still investigating the remote and immediate causes of the deaths of the men who resided in Kwanar Ganduje quarters of the metropolis while the suspects are being detained at the Bompai Headquarters of the command for allegedly killing Xucheng Kun and his friend identified as 'old man' during the fight.

Sofia Vergara has been named as the highest earning women on TV - just three years after landing her first major series.

The star beat reality star Kim Kardashian to top the Forbes list of TV's highest paid stars.

Colombian born Vergara, 40, earned $19m (£12.7m) in 2011 while Kardashian took in $18m.

The majority of Vergara's bumper pay day came from her business deals rather than he role as Latino mother Gloria on the award winning show where she earns an estimated $100,000 an episode.

60 year old woman burnt to death after a Porsche Cayenne rammed into her

A female motorist has burned to death after a Porsche Cayenne rammed into her car and burst into flames on the M40 motorway.

Drivers watched in horror as the victim, believed to be in her 60s, died after being trapped in her burning car between junctions two and three at Beaconsfield.

Police difuse bomb in Ikeja, Lagos

A bomb has been diffused by the Anti Bomb Squad around Toyin Street, Ikeja, the Lagos State capital.
According to the scanty report, the bomb was found at the Reliance Hotel and they alerted the anti-bomb squad who came to the rescue immediately.

Lady in EFCC's net over $6,900 Ukraine Admission Scam

According to Sahara Reporters, EFCC has arraigned one Charity Komuo and her company, Charity Luba Consultancy, before the Delta State High Court in Asaba for Fraud.

Her arrest followed a petition from one Anthony Afisi that Komuo defrauded his family of 6,900 United States dollars under the pretex she would help one Ufuoma Afisi secure admission into a University in Ukraine, a promise that she failed to keep. 

Several other persons were also allegedly defrauded by Charity and her company in the same way.
Ms. Komuo was charged with eight counts. She has been remanded in prison custody till July 26, 2012 when the bail application will be heard.  

Lagos State Government Bus Crushes Biker And get Burnt

A Lagos state government bus burnt down Monday night after it dragged a biker from a spot at the U-turn Bus stop, near Abule Egba on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, killing the biker.

Eyewitnesses say the biker died immediately after the accident severed his leg.  The biker bled to death due to injuries sustained as the bus forcefully dragged him on the road for a long distance. 


According to witnesses, the bus driver did not know he was dragging the biker until the crowd raised alarm.

One eyewitness says policemen from Abattoir police station in Agege area immediately rescued the bus driver from a possible attacks from youths on the scene. The witness also said another person died with the biker increasing the causalities to two.

Shooting on the actor's latest movie Oblivion wrapped in California yesterday and the 50-year-old flew to New York overnight to see his youngest child.

Nigerians have been ranked as among the most sexually satisfied in the world, according to a global survey conducted by condom manufacturer, Durex.

In a statement on Tuesday, Durex said the online study questioned more than 26,000 respondents across 26 countries about every aspect of their sex lives in a bid to chart comprehensively “what constitutes intimate well-being.”

The survey put Nigeria in pole position at 67 per cent, followed by Mexico at 63 per cent, India (61 Per cent) and Poland (54 per cent).

Fashola Arrests Military Man on BRT Lane

These guys are in some hooot soup. Lol. I mean, shouldn't they lead by example? BRF you're the man! 

Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola on Tuesday reprimanded two military officers for driving on the dedicated Bus Rapid Transit lane.

The soldiers were accosted on the BRT lane at the Outer Marina on the Island.

Fashola expressed dismay that those who should show discipline and professionalism were the ones violating the BRT regulation.

Colonel K.I. Yusuf drove an Army Green Peugeot 406 with registration number BO1 – 150 NA, while Staff Sergeant A.J. Adeomi drove a black Toyota Camry.

Security agents demolish Makoko Waterfront and renders more than 2,500 persons homeless

Several soldiers, police officers and officers from other paramilitary agencies, on Monday, stormed the Makoko (Ilaje) water front area of Lagos, demolishing houses and shanties.

More than 2,500 persons, mostly fishermen and their families, have been rendered homeless. There is pandemonium as the people were sighted running helter-skelter to avoid being shot by the armed soldiers and police officers.

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise in car crash

Aww...that must have been scary. Sweet dotting Katie Holmes must have been shaken up. 

Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise were involved in a minor car collision in New York City today, according to reports. 

The actress and her six-year-old daughter with Tom Cruise are believed to have been riding in the back of a black Mercedes sedan when it was struck by a sanitation truck on Monday evening.

No one was reported hurt in the incident.

Police arrived to the scene and documented the damage on the S550, which sustained a large dent and several scratches to the rear driver side panel.

Katie and Suri were not seen at the scene of the accident. It was unclear if the actress and her daughter were in the vehicle when the incident occurred.
